I am happily married, and a teacher and writer with a zest for learning. My passions are learning to live simply, learning how to learn, and teaching English. 

I have an academic background in Nutrition and Physiology; have served in the Royal Navy, volunteered as an aid worker in Central America and East Africa, and have taught English in the Middle East.

In my spare time - I enjoy reading, listening to all sorts of music, and dabbling in photography; and when on vacation, I love to travel and make new friends. Oh and I nearly forgot to mention - I love all things to do with the sea.
