So aim to be true to yourself before you woo!
Just be your best self and be truly unique.
Shape and shine personality but don't be a geek!
Keep fit and healthy and look after your physique.
(No need to look like a body-building freak!)
Inner beauty is more important than outer beauty.
Show courtesy, decency, honesty and integrity.
Be listening and speaking - engaging and interesting.
Wear your most beautiful attire.
Something you don’t have to acquire.
That ear to ear gesture of a shiny smile.
Costs nout (and shows friendly not hostile!)
Take care and pride in your personal appearance
(If not - you’ll see your partner’s disappearance!)
So you are all set and ready.
Now be patient and steady.
Be yourself and believe in yourself!
And remember: to find your perfect and ideal other half

These words are so true! When I opened myself up to finding my husband, I made up my mind that no matter what I was going to just be myself. I was told at one point that you had to play the "game" to attract someone. Since I am not a game player, I decided either he'll like me for who I am or it just won't happen. Shockingly to me, it did happen and I am now happily married to someone who accepts me for who I am. I am blessed.
There is a perfect half for everyone out there, some times it takes years and years to find them, but when you do, you know in your heart that that is the one meant for you. God Bless my friend

More and more people are staying single as years go by, what is that so ? Is it about finding the perfect partner ? Maybe so in some cases. Or it is more about meeting the right person and fall in love with. Why is it so hard for some people ?

Hey Twin Hubbing Brother, I can truly relate to this subject, and my thoughts on it are that perfect intuition about someone you wish to share your life with will meet its accomplishment by just going after your true heart's desire and communicating it well to your partner. No one would want to be stuck in a relationship with out communication, just like being in a room with deaf children with out any knowledge of sign language.The matters of the heart come from being honest with that special someone, and also being true to oneself. This poem is filled with wisdom, but I think I like your lighthearted attitude best. It's also the first time I've heard someone say that there are many people who can be your perfect partner. To many people get stuck on finding that one special someone and wind up with no one. Voted up. Cheers.

Yes you're right my friend. There is someone special out there for us and we do need to take our time and be patient to wait for that time to come when our future partner enters into our life. We know when it happens because it just feels right!

Good questions indeed! I can only think and say that there are obviously many reasons for why people are like that. Maybe more are enjoying their freedom as singles and don't wish to find life partners for fear of losing the former. So I guess they value their freedom as a single person more than finding that special one to spend their life with.

Yeah absolutely - We need to trust our intuition or our gut instinct when it comes to that special person. It's that the special feeling we have when we know something or someone is absolutely right. It's also very important as you mentioned to communicate well, both before and after a relationship starts. Without strong communication a relationship will crumble and fall apart, so we need to be able to communicate well for us to be successful in relationships.

I agree - I think many are out there with this idea that there is only one person who is absolutely right for them. If they don't change their attitude then they will end up becoming frustrated and end up with no one at all. Fixing our attitude increases our chance of finding the right one for us!

Hi Giselle. Absolutely agree - When we drop our preconceived ideas and accept ourselves and are true to ourselves then almost by magic the universe knows we're ready to received someone special in our life who will match us because they appreciate us for who we are. Until we free ourselves by becoming true to ourselves then we will never find the right person to share our life with. Finding the right person can be like a lottery but God and the universe is a place of miraces! We just have to believe and be ourselves!
